How to Setup Individual Computer Backup Report Emails

Please Read before Proceeding: You cannot setup Email Reports for Workstations using “Document Only” Backups. This option is only available for Full System Workstations Backups. 

1. Log into the Monitoring Portal. Instructions for Logging in can be found here. 

2. Once signed in, go to the Configuration drop down menu on the left side of the screen. Expand “Backup Manager” then “MSP Backup” and then click on “Dashboard”. 

3. On the Backup Dashboard page, search for the computer you would like to configure an email report for. Once located, click on the gear icon next to the device name then select “Launch backup client”.

4. Once the webpage loads, go to the “Preferences” tab. You should now see the General backup preferences.

a. Enter the email address which will receive the backup reports in the “Send To” field under the “Backup dashboard settings”. 

b. You can set the Frequency to send the reports Daily, every Wednesday and Saturday or just on Saturday. 

Once all your desired settings are in place, click Save. 

Note

If you do not see the Backup or Preferences tabs, this means that the machine is using Documents Only Backups. These options are only available for Full System Workstation Backups.
