How to view anti-virus quarantined Items

If you have received an email alert for a workstation from us, it does not mean that the machine is compromised. AV Defender will block or remote the files before it can do any harm. However, we do recommend that if a program was blocked or deleted that you use, we create an exclusion for it.

1. If you have an account to sign into our monitoring portal (monitor.magna5cloud.com), please sign into it.

2. Navigate down to the configuration tab, Security Manager, then Quarantine Management.

  • This will show you all blocked and deleted files from AV defender (see screenshot below).
  • If you would like to have a file or program excluded, please email [email protected] and we will get the exclusion created. If you would like, you can create the exclusion yourself.

Example of Quarantined Files:

“We have received an AV Defender alert for the Server/Workstation. The alert states that there are multiple quarantined files. It appears that java.exe has been blocked due to it being . . .

Please let us know if you would like us removing these quarantined items AV was able to find.”
